Payment capability disabled

01Why disabled

Responsible fundraising requires more than a payment button.

Before launch, Ubuntu Gale must confirm the legal entity receiving funds, approved bank account, authorised signatories, tax and receipting position, restricted-fund controls, payment-provider terms, fraud monitoring, donor privacy and refund handling.

02What will be visible

Donors should understand where money can go.

A future donation interface should identify whether a contribution is unrestricted or programme-specific, how administration is treated, what receipt is available, material restrictions, refund conditions and how use of funds will be reported.

03Current contribution routes

Organisations can still discuss scoped support.

Potential funders may request a controlled programme conversation. Technology and implementation organisations may submit partnership interest for approved in-kind or specialist contributions.

04Warning

Do not send money using unverified details.

Ubuntu Gale does not currently publish donation bank details, payment links, cryptocurrency addresses or individual collection accounts. Treat any such request as unverified and report it through the general contact route.

No payment accepted

The donation feature remains disabled.

No tax claim
