Ad-hoc support

Stuck on something? Ask.

Implementation problems do not wait for the next scheduled clinic. Any participant can request a working session at any point in their cycle, and we triage every request within two working days.

What happens next

Three possible answers — you always get one of them.

A session, scheduled

Most requests become a working session with whoever is best placed to help — online, by phone, or in person where that is practical.

A direct answer

Some questions do not need a meeting. If a written answer solves it, you get one — usually faster than a slot would have come up.

An honest redirect

Some things fall outside what this network can do — regulated advice, or work that needs a paid specialist. We will say so and point you somewhere better rather than half-helping.

Request a session

Tell us what is not working.

The more specific you are about what you tried and what happened, the more the session can be spent solving rather than diagnosing.

One line — for example, "stock system keeps losing entries".

What you were trying to do, what happened instead, and what you have already tried. Detail here means the session starts with solving rather than diagnosing.

How urgent is it?

For example, "weekday mornings" or "after 5pm Tuesdays and Thursdays".

Optional. We plan sessions around this — it is never used to assess an application.
